We Build Public Safety Grade Towers
GrayDS, working with Vertical Bridge, one of the largest tower companies, will provide the funding and complete engineering / procurement / construction (EPC) of the new towers. Our team will work with your system development team to build the tower site that meets your company or agency specific needs. Our GDS/VB solution can be as simple as a new tower with power and a compound fence, or a complete site with tower, shelter, generator and even MW backhaul. We are able to include the legacy removal costs in our proposal. The ability to lease a public safety grade tower designed to R56 standards at your location saves the agency capital costs and accelerates the scheduled availability.
Our capabilities allow you to assign the site to our team and move to other projects. We will take care of the permitting, environmental clearances, engineering design and construction. When the site is ready, your team can bring in your radio equipment and turn the site up.
Additional Information
GDS management team has over 20 years of experience in the deployment of communication facilities for a variety of customers from Federal, State and local agencies, commercial carriers and private radio systems. Our processes can be summarized by the graphic below showing the basic tasks required and the interrelationship of these tasks.
Site Surveys / Site Audits
Our approach for Site Inspection is based upon the cumulative experience of hundreds of site inspections for a variety of Federal, State and local agency customers for analysis and data gathering at LMR sites. Our project phases approach breaks the Site Inspection process into three phases: Pre-Survey Desktop Study, Comprehensive Site Inspection, and Final Site Inspection Report as shown in Figure A-2.
Figure A-2: Project Phases
These phases are designed to reduce costs, increase data accuracy and complete the required data collection including uploading the Site Inspection Report within the required delivery time frame. The GDS team recognizes that the site investigation data will be used for decisions regarding the future needs of the site including maintenance plans, inventory levels and spare parts, integrated logistics/warehousing plans, comprehensive disaster recovery plans, and environmental management plans. GDS will provide a comprehensive Corrective Action Report to identify and prioritize site deficiencies, particularly emergency situations involving safety related concerns or items with serious implications that could have an impact to system availability.
